Now we’ll have Northwestern Mutual’s support in bringing financial security to even more households nationwide. 

Through this acquisition, Northwestern Mutual is looking to LearnVest to keep innovating and building out our best-in-class financial planning platform. LearnVest is at the intersection of financial planning and technology, and we’d guess that’s one of the things you like about the LearnVest Program. It’s designed to be dynamic, seamless and simple to use, so you can track your progress and see results. Moving forward, we’ll be building features you love even faster, so get ready for an exciting new chapter. 

What does this mean for my premium account?

All the things you’ve come to love are staying the same, with the same team ready to help you make progress. You’ll keep working with the same LearnVest Planner, and there are no changes to the terms and conditions of your membership. 

Will my subscription fees be changing?

Your monthly subscription price remains the same. 

Will my Planner still offer unbiased, trusted advice?

Absolutely. Your Planner will still offer you the trusted advice you can always expect from us. Your Planner is not selling you insurance or other financial products and will not be earning any commissions for working with clients.
 
Will LearnVest share my personal information with Northwestern Mutual?
 
Your personal information is never shared outside of LearnVest, and is used internally only to ensure your financial plan is accurate and personalized.

Legal (Investment Advisors Act)

When you first joined LearnVest, you signed an Advisory Agreement which appointed LearnVest Planning as your investment advisor. Under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended, Northwestern Mutual’s purchase of LearnVest on or about May 11, 2015 will result in a change in control of LearnVest that is deemed an assignment of your Advisory Agreement by LearnVest Planning to Northwestern Mutual. 

This assignment has no impact on your relationship with your financial planner, LearnVest Planning or the terms of service you signed up for. Nothing will change!

However, according to regulations, we need your consent to transfer your Advisory Agreement to Northwestern Mutual.

Luckily - we’ve made it really easy. To consent, just do nothing!

If you do not consent to this assignment, cancel your account by April 9th. 

Cancelling your Account

You can cancel your account two ways:


    1.    Call Customer Service at ((888) 389-3298). Our hours are:

  • Friday: 9am - 5pm EST
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 7pm EST
