Why can’t I find my bank, credit card or financial institution?

There are a few reasons why this might be the case:

1. We support your financial institution but the search didn’t pull up the correct listing.
If your financial institution isn’t showing up, try using one of these tips:

a) If you’re searching for a Federal Credit Union, try using "FCU" (for example Countryside Federal Credit Union = Countryside FCU)

b) If you’re trying to link your MasterCard credit card, search for the bank that the card is associated with rather than “MasterCard.”

c) If you’re searching for INGDirect, try ING Direct. For ETrade, try E*Trade.

2. Your financial institution is international.
We are currently focusing our outreach on the United States and so unfortunately at this time we do not support financial institutions outside of the country. However, there are still many LearnVest resources that you can take advantage of - much of what we suggest in our content, and especially in our
classes and Bootcamp programs, is applicable no matter where you live.

In the meantime, we have a feature that allows you to manually add account balances for any accounts we don't offer. Learn more about that here.

3. We do not yet support your financial institution.
Currently we support over 12,500 financial institutions. However, we know that we are still missing a few. While we cannot add individual providers to our set of linked accounts at this time, we will continue to grow the list of institutions we support. Please request your financial institution here!

In the meantime, you can use our "add an account manually" feature to manually input the balance of any non-linked accounts, so you can still get a good picture of your net worth today. Learn more about that here.
